BPD/NPD will lie for attention. Anything will do, including recycling other people’s stories of abuse, make them up on the fly or co-mingle . That anyone replies to the bait is the ‘feed’ that the PD’d get a kick out of. So, if you befriend what you believe to be a person experiencing something terrible or experiencing something similar, you may be wasting your time playing into their “fantasy.” If they are skittish about talking face to face on camera, let them go. They are probably not real.
BPDfamily used to be a somewhat useful site, as the people that were there, were genuine. Over the last years, it has been taken over by sock puppets to keep the site “alive” and garnering donations. How to state something so odious? Well, my name for one was found being bandied about in the mod forums. How was that even possible? Having not been there for several years, and no one knew me there. I know where that information came from, and it was No One on BPDfamily. Certainly not anyone that has any business being on that board in the role of moderator.
What is the purpose of exposing BPDf despite the fact that it appears to be helpful? Well, it isn’t particularly helpful at all. That is the smoke screen. The lure. The bait if you will. Most of the current posts are also bait, in hopes that others will start “talking” or posting. Anything to keep the donations wheel churning and narc supply in many cases flowing. Many of the posts are completely rewritten from previous members. Others are so ridiculous it is obviously a BPD/NPD fantasy. Narc supply takes many bizarre permutations. Online “acting” or “Role play” is one such method. However, doing so on a forum for people that are dealing with BPD is repugnant on multiple levels. The blatant ignorance and selfishness of the action is beyond explanation. It is a clearly a disordered thing to be doing.
Oddly enough, but not really, is that this “role playing” or sock puppet acting is being actively promoted on Psychforums. The use of the Enneagram and stretching ‘identities’ or ‘lack of self’ is the “in” thing with the psychobabblist of PF. The cross forum incest of SC and PF was blatant from the get go, but that Dr. Clarfield would be so blatantly revolting? That is another order of repulsive. Something which seems to be unique to narcissists. It may also explain her sock puppet “husband” with the rotating identities it is so proud to bleat on about. (5iveintime, 9ine etc etc ) On MHG he stated he was a black man, but his pictures were of a white Caucasian. Neither of the two seem to be able to keep their lies/ story lines straight.
Of course, asking Skip of BPDf directly about the problem led to his dance of denial and obfuscation of the obvious. This has been posted about here. That is worse than pathetic. Clear collusion. Naturally, he will have to ban and silence anyone who is aware of the duplicity and essentially the hideous lie that Skip is now responsible for promoting at BPDf.
Imagine BPD/ NPD as children in an adult’s body but with the mentality obsessed with very nasty sexual proclivities and garden variety malice driving their internet antics. And you will also find that they cannot play or be alone for any length of time. Hallmark of the mental disturbance is their inability to self soothe, and projection is their preference. When they cannot get a reaction out of their “target” they will up the ante and enact DARVO. Which is Deny Attack, Reverse Victim, Offender.
DARVO is all Skip and his cronies in collusion have left to work with. False accusation of “Trolling” then some senseless ban based on the false accusation. Of course, when a new account is created by yours truly, it is a ‘puppet’ however it is not in the sense of the puppets that the BPDf crew are operating. Mine are just me. The Messenger. The messenger tends to get shot of course 😉 but that is half the fun.
