For the genesis of Junk Psychology, look no further than Psychforums, or BPDfamily for that matter. Both sites are perverse Echo Chambers as both are run by personality disordered individuals. The Site Admins at PF are both gender dysphoric Cluster B’s and incapable of following their own rules. Further to which, the “identity” politics of PDs has extended to rewriting the DSM according to their preferences. In particular, this phenomenon can be noted in the AsPD forum.

Junk Psychology is anything that does not agree with the promoted opinion of the Echo Chamber. At PF, if you do not adopt the “identity” which Dr. Clarfield would be so gracious from her NPD pulpit to “assign” to you, you will be banned. No rules broken. She cannot manipulate you, and therefore she cannot “use” you as part of her paradigm of “Normalize mental illness” as the cure for mental illness.

Across both BPDfamily and PF, you will read excessive bollox with regards to “compassion” and “empathy” for PDs. While disregarding the abuse they inflict on those around them. BPDf was promoting “lower your expectations” when in a relationship with a BPD. Basically, you would have to be a severe form of co-dependent to accept that as a reasonable solution. A very poor solution to a problem that is not the responsibility of the unfortunate partner.

In her ‘widsom’ Dr. Clarfield promotes the “identity” stretching of AsPDs. Right there you have the problem. AsPD is not defined at any point in time in the DSM as having a “lack of self.” That is the clear domain of BPD/NPD/HPD. But not for Dr. Clarfield, who uses this idiocy as method for massaging the egos of the BPD/NPD/HPD and pretty much anyone gullible enough to fall for her machinations. To that end, add every order of sexual perversity including pedophilia and you have Junk Psychology on steroids a la Dr. Clarfield (Eight / Lifesong). This ridiculous fool of a psychologist had it in her head that she can ‘diagnose’ over the internet. To aid her in her bogus ‘diagnosis’ she enlists the aid of mentally ill and PD’d individuals. She was also very active as a ‘moderator’ along with her ‘husband’ on MHG (now defunct to cover up the mess they made).

Supposedly, while moderator at MHG (defunct site) she and “Nova” the Admin ( also Tempest/Tempest88/Starbuckslover13/User447135 at PF) had a ‘falling out.’ Eight and her husband were ‘banned’ from PF. Yet they post as one happy perverse little family on PF. They work together behind the scenes to collect information, IPs, emails and then harass new members if they don’t “tow the line.” Of course, if you are not fawning in awe of Eight’s “insight” you will be banned.
